PayPal subscriptions use Shopify's native checkout, and Progus sends their renewal billing attempts to Shopify.
Step 1: Place a PayPal subscription order
Place a subscription test order through the regular Shopify checkout and choose PayPal.
Step 2: Check the saved payment method
Open the new subscription in Progus and check that its payment method shows the PayPal account email.
A PayPal account email on the subscription means Shopify supplied a saved PayPal billing agreement that Progus can use as the subscription payment method.
