Use Mollie when you want subscribers to start with iDEAL or Bancontact and renew by SEPA Direct Debit instead of a card.
Before you start, activate at least one Mollie method that can hand over the customer bank account, such as iDEAL or Bancontact. If no usable method is active, the app shows a warning and the checkout filter stays off until Mollie offers a method on that profile.
Also activate SEPA Direct Debit in Mollie before selling subscriptions, because renewals are directdebit charges. Without it, the app warns that SEPA Direct Debit is not active at Mollie.
Step 1: Open the Mollie integration
Open Progus Subscriptions settings.
Choose Integrations.
On the Mollie card, click Configure.
Step 2: Connect Mollie
Click Connect with Mollie.
If you need a new account, click Create a Mollie account instead.
Step 3: Save the connection settings
Choose the Mollie profile for this store.
Turn on Test mode only while you want Mollie payments to run in test mode.
Click Save.
Step 4: Turn on the storefront button
Turn on Show the Mollie checkout button.
Open Payment methods.
Tick iDEAL, Bancontact, or both.
Leave the list empty only if every usable Mollie method should stay available.
When the save bar appears, save the checkout button settings.
Step 5: Enable the theme embed
If the page says buyers cannot see the button yet, click Enable in theme editor.
