The Analytics page shows how the subscription side of your store is doing. It has five tabs, one date range and one view switcher. It is included on every plan, the Free one as well.
The date range is Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days, and it opens on 30 days. It only moves the metrics that count something in the period, such as new and canceled subscriptions. Current counts and all-time totals ignore it. Two metrics look forward instead of back: upcoming orders uses the number of days you selected, and expected collections always looks 30 days ahead whatever you pick.
Mixed view shows metric cards and charts together. Charts only drops the cards. List view puts every metric of the tab in one table with its short description next to the value, which is the quickest way to scan a tab you do not know yet.
Overview: money and the size of the base in one screen. Recurring revenue, expected collections, all-time revenue, the active, new, canceled and paused counts, churn, net change, average order value, revenue per subscriber and average subscription age.
Orders: subscription orders in the period, split into First-time orders (the order that started the contract) and Recurring orders (every renewal after it), plus Upcoming orders and the average order value for the period.
Subscriptions: the base and how it moves. Active, new, paused, canceled and reactivated counts, churn rate, average age and average order cycles.
Billing health: whether the money actually arrives. Billing success rate, Failed last payment, the dunning numbers, Contracts with inventory errors and the Payment status chart.
Retention: reads the cancellation flow log. Retention flow events counts every completed trip through the flow, next to accepted offers, subscriptions saved, the top cancellation reason, and the cancellations and pauses that went through the flow. A customer who abandons the flow is never counted.
In Mixed view, every tab carries a Top changes strip. It shows up to three metrics that moved against the previous period, worst news first. It is not a ranking of the biggest moves.
Read "What each subscription metric means" before you act on a number. Several of them are all-time figures, not figures for the period you selected.
Compare the same tab across 30 and 90 days before reacting to one bad week.
If churn rises, open Retention to see the reasons behind it.
If billing success drops, check the dunning numbers and your failed payment emails.
