A subscription plan decides which products customers can subscribe to, how often they get them, and what discount they get for subscribing.
Go to Apps → Progus Subscriptions → Plans and click Add plan.
In a hurry? Generate with AI reads your catalogue and proposes ready-made plans instead. You still review them before anything goes live.
Click Browse in the Products card, search for the product, tick it and click Select. One plan can cover several products, or only some variants of a product.
Tick Only sell selected products as subscriptions if those products should no longer be sold as a one-off purchase anywhere in your store.
Tick Offer discount and choose the type: Percentage off, Amount off, or Fixed price if you would rather set the exact price subscribers pay.
Need a stronger opening offer? Change discount after specific number of payments lets you start high and settle lower, for example 20% for the first three payments and 10% after that.
Enter a number and pick days, weeks, months or years. "1" and "months" means one delivery, and one charge, per month.
Prepaid subscription: the customer pays for several deliveries upfront and still receives them one by one.
Add option: offer more than one frequency in the same plan, each with its own discount. The customer picks one on the product page.
The status is the dropdown in the small card on the right, above the widget preview. Leave it on Active and click Save. The plan appears on the Plans page, and customers see the subscription option on the product page as soon as the subscription widget block is in your theme. Pick Inactive instead to prepare the plan now and switch it on later.
Open one of the products in your store and check that the subscription widget shows up. Nothing there? The theme app block is still missing, see Add the subscription widget to your product pages.
Selling in the EU? Connect Mollie under Settings → Integrations → Mollie and add the second theme app block, Local payment checkout (Mollie), in the theme editor, so customers can start a subscription with iDEAL or Bancontact and renew automatically by SEPA Direct Debit.
